Ugly world.

Bruised & numb.
Messed up world fill with darkness.
Sufferings and happiness,
contradicting.
I understood the obvious picture of L.I.F.E.
it was just an optical illusion.

How foolish i have been,
in the game called love that guys play.
How silly and naive i was,
to believe that it was true love.
To think that,
by waiting and loving unconditionally,
one day you'll come to realise~
that i was always with you all along.
But i failed to realise that,
i'm taking the wrong step,
i refuse to believe that you no longer love me,
denial was what i chose.
When i think back,
snapping back to reality~
i realise it was all just a dream that i created,
to make myself feel better,
by slipping into it time after time.
Not gonna look back now,
if one day~
you want me back,
i will not compromise.
You had your don't deserved chance,
but you blew it off.
Once bitten, twice shy~
true as it is like how the saying goes.

When things are too good to be true,
i take a step backwards,
fear of getting hurt again,
being taken for granted,
phobia of being lied to,
being used,
on the other hand,
i hope good things prevail,
not short-termed,
but till the world ends.
